You can find the Heineken Experience in the factory where the Heineken beer used to be produced. The world famous beer brand was made here until 1988. In 1988 this production line was moved to a larger factory. From 2001 the building serves as an attraction for a Heineken Brewery tour. Since 2001, millions of visitors have come to this special experience.

The Heineken Brewery Tour is an interactive tour and takes you through the history of the beer brewery. Walk along the giant copper tanks that were used to brew the Heineken beer. Learn all about the Heineken brewing process. During the tour you can smell or taste all the ingredients.

You can also make your own beer bottle with a self-designed label and you can tap your own beer in the Heineken Museum Bar. During your visit you will receive two free beers.

How to reach Heineken Experience?

By public transport: From Amsterdam Central Station by tram 16, 24 and 25; from Leidseplein tram 7 and 10 and with the Canal Boat (stop in front of the door).

By car: From the A10 ring road, exit S110; follow the signs to the center and the parking garage on the Stadhouderskade (50 m from the Heineken Brewery).

Tickets for the Heineken Experience

The tour takes approximately 1.5 hours. It is an individual tour with audio guide that is available in Dutch, English, French, German, Chinese, Portuguese, Italian, Spanish and Russian. In addition to the audio guide, there is also a Heineken Experience App that you can download. With this app you even get more pleasure from your visit to the old Heineken beer brewery.
